The Notified PIF is expected to be launched by the end of the month and will be a new fund framework similar to the NAIF and the RAIF in Luxembourg for smaller set ups below the EUR100M threshold. It will provide a solution for the smaller managers or third country managers who will not need a full scope AIFM to manage their fund. It will also provide a quicker time to market making it easier to secure seed investors without waiting for an application to go through the licensing process.
