Anabel joined Fexserv Fund Services in 2008 and today occupies the position of Managing Director. She started her career in audit and assurance with PwC where she was involved within different industries and worked in offices including Malta and London. Subsequently she took up accountancy and finance positions with leading entities operating out of Malta including an appointment within the Finance Department of HSBC Securities Services (Malta) Limited. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, an Honours degree in Accountancy and a Masters degree in Financial Services from the University of Malta. Anabel sits on the committee at the Malta Asset Servicing Association (MASA) and represents MASA on the Joint Committee for the Prevention of Money Laundering and Funding of Terrorism chaired by the Financial Intelligence Unit. She is also actively involved in various industry discussions and is a visiting lecturer at the University of Malta
Lawrence joined Fexserv in 2007 and subsequently progressed to lead the Group. He is a qualified accountant by profession holding an Honours degree in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Malta. Before he joined Fexserv Group, he worked for PwC specialising in financial services, getting extensive experience in audits and consultancy appointments for funds, banks and other licensed entities, including a long-term appointment with the Banking and Capital Markets division in New York City.
Brendan has over 25 years’ experience in the Financial, Investment and custody sector, including a broad knowledge of the compliance and regulatory sides of the industry. He was previously employed by Daiwa Securities, Bank of Ireland Securities Services and was Managing Director of Fexco Global Investments for 10 years. Brendan has successfully completed regulatory personal questionnaires with a number of Financial Regulators, most recently with the Central Bank of Ireland and the Malta Financial Services Authority. A graduate of Trinity College Dublin and the Dublin Institute of Technology, Brendan is presently a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment in London, and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Cristian joined Fexserv in 2020 to lead the Company Secretarial / Regulatory Reporting department progressing to eventually take on the position of Legal and Business Development Manager in 2021. He holds a law degree by the Universidad Militar Nueva Granada of Colombia and a specialization in Financial Law by the Universidad del Rosario of Colombia. He started his career at the Colombia Bankers Association where he acquired a strong background in legal and financial services. Subsequently he moved on to hold a number of positions acquiring experience in Investment funds, compliance and blockchain operations.
Kevin joined Fexserv Fund Services in 2015 as a Senior Fund Accountant and was promoted to Operations Manager in 2018. He is a Certified Accountant holding an Honours degree in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Commerce degree awarded by the University of Malta. Before joining Fexserv, Kevin worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers including assignments in funds in New York.
Mark joined Fexserv Fund Services in 2014 as a Senior Fund Accountant and today occupies the position of Finance Manager. He started his career in audit with PwC where he was involved within various industries. Subsequently, he moved on to hold a number of finance positions within the private sector. Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and an Honours degree in Accountancy, both from the University of Malta.
Andres joined Fexserv Fund Services in 2019 and today is the Corporate and Compliance Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Economics degree by the National University of Colombia, a postgraduate diploma in Corporate Finance by the College of Advanced Studies in Administration in Colombia and a Master’s degree in International Markets by the Rovira i Virgili University in Spain. He started his career at the Colombia Bankers Association where he was involved in financial and risk affairs. Before joining Fexserv, he worked for a Compliance services firm getting experience in European Investment Funds, investment services providers and local regulation.
